OTC determines the retention period of your personal data based on the following retention criteria:

OTC retains your personal data for so long as is necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected (as set out above);

OTC retains your personal data for so long as is required under any contract or by applicable law.

YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA SUBJECT

You have the right (subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable data protection laws) to:

  • ask OTC about the processing of your personal data, including being provided with a copy of your 
  • personal data; 
  • request the correction and/or deletion of your personal data;
  • request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, or object to that processing;
  • request receipt or transmission to another organization, in a machine-readable form, of the personal data that you have provided to OTC; andcomplain to your local supervisory authority if your data protection rights are violated, or if you have suffered as a result of unlawful processing of your personal data. To this effect, you can contact OTC by getting in touch with the Legal Department of the OTC by sending an email to info@theotclab.com. The Legal Department will review and assess your request and communicate with you.
  • Where you are given the option to share your personal data with us, you can always choose not to do so. If you object to the processing of your personal data, OTC will respect that choice in accordance with its legal obligations. This could mean that OTC is unable to perform the actions necessary to achieve the purposes of processing described in paragraph 3 of the Purposes of Processing of Personal Data section.
  • OTC is committed to taking all appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unauthorized destruction, accidental loss and modifications, access, and any other unauthorized processing of personal data.
